Are you ready to Rock and Roll? Then let NoteAble Decades, New Hampshire’s Favorite Party Band, take you back in time with some of the best songs and music of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s at St. Kieran Arts Center on Sunday, February 21 at 2 PM. With an outstanding reputation as a leading New England Touring Band, “offering something for everyone”, NotaAble Decades brings fun and excitement to town wherever they play. This incredibly versatile band features a sizzling mix of Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Percussion and a dynamic Vocal Trio who enjoy singing the songs we all knew and loved.
From “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, “What About Love”, “Under the Boardwalk”, “Gloria” and “Rock “n Roll is Here to Stay” to ABBA classics like “Take a Chance on Me” & Mama Mia”, “You Keep Me Hanging On” and “Don’t Stop Believing”— This is just the band to chase away the winter blues. Don’t miss this one!
Founder and musical director, James Riel has been performing throughout New England for over twenty years. Jim enjoyed a 10-year run as Baritone for the well-known band “Swell Party” until its break up in 2005. Because of his passion for the songs and music of the great decades of the 40’s to the 80’s, he was inspired to put NoteAble Decades together by recruiting this top notch group of extraordinary artists and musicians.
Band members include Tara Dallaire, vocalist; Amy Mathison, Vocalist; Paula Brennan, Keyboards; David Couture, Electric Guitar; Jared Steer, Percussion; and Jeremy Mathison, Bass Guitar. NoteAble Decades can be found happily performing throughout the year in concert halls, performing arts centers, festival sites, corporate gatherings and wedding receptions throughout New Hampshire and the greater New England region.
The NoteAble Decades performance is made possible through the sponsorship of Town and Country Motor Inn and White Mountains Community College. St. Kieran Arts Center is a non-profit charitable trust supported in part by grants from the NH State Council on the Arts, NH American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, National Endowment for the Arts, and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation/North Country.
Upcoming Sunday performances in the 2010 Series include Mountain Springs Celtic Music on March 7, Brass Venture on March 21, the International Musical Arts Chamber Concert on April 11 and the Shaw Brothers on April 25. Tickets are now available for the St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Celebration on Friday, March 12 at the Town & Country Inn, Shelburne.
Season Memberships to all 2010 performances are currently available for $150 and $125. For Membership information and a full schedule of all 2010 events contact the Arts Center at 752-1028, 155 Emery Street or visit www.stkieranarts.org
