Robert and Barbara Barbieri of Berlin, take a closer look at the intricate details one of the original hand-carved block relief prints created by Gorham artist and teacher William Scolere featured as part of the Big Art Show: Large Format Exhibition on display until July 25 at St. Kieran Arts Center. Alexandria Tichy, a recent graduate of Berlin High School and one of two recipients of St. Kieran Arts Center’s Arts Recognition Awards, shared her gift of playing beautiful classical flute music during the recent opening of the Arts Center’s Big Art Show Exhibition. Richard Ouellette was also recognized for his artistic talents and community contributions. The wooden sculpture in the foreground is by Randolph artist Robert Onacki and the block print series in background is by Gorham artist, William Scolere.
